Close to the town of Blairgowrie in Perthshire is the stunning Tower of Lethendy. Following a loving restoration lasting some few years, it now offers 21st century luxury in an old and historic setting. The daughter of Heron of Lethendy was an ancestor of Graham of Claverhouse, better known locally as "Bonnie Dundee". Extensive additions were made to the old tower edifice in 1885 in the Scottish Baronial style, which forms the mass of the tower today, by a Major Gammell of Drumtochty.
